Wow! Spring is in full swing here in Texas! Not even the time change can slow down the progress. This Japanese Maple is already showing off!

First Film

Our first film this season is The Librarian - Quest for the Spear. Since our movie nights are played in the front yard and kids are invited - we have to make certain the movies are generally acceptable by all.

The set up

This is our set up - my Sony dvd player, Bose speakers, and Optoma projector. It is very easy to pull together. And ... wow, the picture and sound are terrific.

Celebrating Spring

Time to bring a little new excitement to the neighborhood. Movie nights in our neighbor's front yard are simply the best.

Freezing temperatures in Dallas last night and today. The fountain is frozen this morning. It is hard to believe we were at 80 degrees last Thursday. The low tonight is below freezing again - then it is back up to 80's by the end of the week. Welcome to Texas weather!
