Okay - they are weeds. But these are DC weeds on the Mall. So ... they get a little better treatment than weeds in my front yard.

I love Washington DC - the best part is the Metro system. I think it is nearly perfect and best of all cheap to get around on.

This is why I came to Paris. I wanted to see Spring here. Oh - and the double qualifying miles on American Airlines did not hurt either.

Seeing Green

The parks are just beginning to show that wonderful shade of green associated with Spring.

Beginnings

The trees are just beginning to show their colors around town. The ones that are not blooming are breaking new green leaves for the year. It is a wonderful sight.

Grizzli

No they don't have wild bears running around Paris. Or at least none that I saw during this trip to the City of Lights. Grizzli Cafe is a good restaurant for lunch or dinner. Portions are large. If you are looking for a salad. They have a nice selection.

Spring

It is wonderful to see the trees beginning to green. Certainly makes for a different view of city from my normal winter-time visits.

Home in Paris

Hotel d'Albe continues to be one of my favorite places to rest in Paris. This trip we are in room 641 on the top floor over looking Place St Michel.
