A Place to Prepare

So I have chosen the island of Procida, Italy for my escape in preparing for my 50th birthday. I plan to take a couple of week before the big day to relax and reflect. This looks like the perfect spot.

August in Texas is a tough time for gardening. When temperatures stay above 100 degrees day after day - water doesn't make much sense. Remarkable as it seems - my hostas seem to love the heat and are blooming.
