Chaos & Crisis

Hard to believe that things could get more wild around here! 
 
Added to the normal run of chaos from the remodel - my boyfriend has gone and gotten himself admitted to the hospital in Las Vegas!  He just could not resist the fresh shrimp on the buffet (yes, fresh in Vegas - go figure) - and yes, he has an allergy to shrimp (he has to be the only living Cajun allergic to seafood).  Depending who you believe (and I am inclined to go with the hotel management) - it was quite a show!  Poor thing.
 
Here at home - work continues on the house as outside painting nears completion and sanding of the hardwood floors begins today.  Over the next weeks - the schedule is gonna get really interesting.  We are at the point where every action (or lack of) allows other work to move forward (or not).  I anticipate some fingernail biting!  Maybe I should go to Vegas to babysit my boyfriend (interpret: sit by the pool at the Bellagio Resort)?
 
The appliances have arrived so the kitchen work should be ready to take off next week.
