No trip to Paris can be complete without a trip to the Musee du Louvre. We have learn to dissect this otherwise overwhelming museum into bit size visits. Our helpful tour guide introduced us to the Near Eastern Antiquities during our last visit. It left us hungry to learn more about this interesting wing of the Louvre – which is tucked away from the larger touring groups rushing to see the Mona Lisa. Temporary exhibitions are also an important part of any trip. This year – Mantega exhibit is hanging around just in time.
