Rambling the Ramblas

This is Barcelona's most famous boulevard. It runs from Place de Catalunya (and our hotel) to the Harbour waterfront. Undistracted you could make the mile-long walk in about 30 minutes. But ... distractions abound on this bustling thoroughfare of Barcelona life.

We decided to sample Barcelona's metro system in traveling from the Park to the Ramblas. Thank goodness the walk was downhill otherwise we would have abandoned our plan. For less than 10€ you can buy a shareable pass for 10 trips on the Metro.








Determined not to give in to our brains which were screaming for us to go to sleep - we decided to tackle the boulevard and enjoy the weather.
