Paris 2012/2013 - Day Two - Hopper
Edward Hopper only painted about 100 works during his lifetime. He was an interesting artist known as an introvert and somewhat shy. His wife (and muse) on the other hand was described as his opposite and can be seen in many of his paintings. Over his life - he produced illustrations (his job), etchings and painting in watercolor and oil. The Grand Palais exhibition brings together in one place a rare opportunity to view this American artist's life work.
