Day Seven - Paris 2014 Saint Denis Basilica Cathedral

Saint Denis is home to over 70 statues and tombs under its Gothic construction. It is the burial location for many of France's Royalty including Maria Antoinette. 42 kings, 32 queens, 63 prince and princesses,and 10 of Paris most famous are buried here. The last king , Louis XVIII, in 1824. Saint Denis is said to be the first Bishop of Paris and was martyred in 250 AD.
