The atmosphere is understatedly chic in this Left Bank bistro, with discreet black-and-white photos of gorillas decorating the walls of the narrow dining room, and the food is just as impeccable. In case you’re wondering, the name and décor were inspired by the white gorilla – the last of its kind – at the Barcelona zoo. The chef is from southwest France, which is always a good sign, and the crowd is very local.
