We opted to stay near the city center on this trip to Copenhagen and picked the Hotel SP34 (http://www.brochner-hotels.dk/our-hotels/sp34/ ) to be our home away from home. The hotel reopened on April 17 after a name change (Hotel Fox) and extensive renovation.
Today was the hotel's grand opening and they were hosting a party. Our check in was a little odd and people were very interested in our luggage. Oh well - free drinks for all!
Our rooms are in the older part of the hotel. A benefit with the party and crowd. A small secluded elevator delivered us to the 5th (and top) floor of the hotel. Rooms are contemporary and nice. I was surprised to learn - no air conditioning. How did I miss that detail? oh well, when in Copenhagen live like the locals.
