Sadly - tickets to A Swan Lake (http://operaen.no/en/Performances/a-swan-lake-spring-16/) were sold out and premier is tonight so stage preparations were underway. That would have been the best way to visit the venue.

Day 2 Oslo - Den Norske Opera & Ballett
We rearranged our schedule a bit to take the 50 minute English guided tour of the Den Norske Opera and Ballett building (http://operaen.no/en/) in Oslo. You need to purchase your tickets online and no cameras allowed back stage. The tour was 80 NOK plus a 20 NOK service fee and honestly I'd skip the tour next time. The building is amazing. Ton of construction in the are as plans to move several museum to the port area are underway. We were told that everything should be done within 5 years - so mark Oslo on your calendar after 2010!
