Chaotic Times

Sooner or later the chaos of remodeling begins to impact your plans for the future - it is a reality of remodeling that you must adjust your calendar to account for the delays the project will cause to your travel, holidays, and other fun times. For us - that has meant adjusting friends visiting for holidays, our weekend get-a-ways and trying to figure out if and when we can go see family.

I know it will all work out - just not according to the plans we made last May. Oh well - life, along with chaos goes on.

Rumor has it that we will be back in the master bedroom/bath this weekend. After a quick review of the work tonight - the bedroom looks great but the bath - well that may turn out to be another story.

More work has been completed in the kitchen - with the window seal above the sink being removed. Also, the new floor around the kitchen island has been replaced. Progress! hurray! I continue to think the kitchen will turn out to win first prize in our remodeling project. I cannot wait until it is completed!
