Lisbon - Day 1, Arrival

We arrived in Lisbon on American Airlines via Madrid. Our four hour layover passed by quickly and we enjoyed the Iberia airlines lounge at the airport (thank goodness for status which granted us access). Lisbon is a 1 hr time zone difference from Madrid and 6 hrs ahead of home in Dallas.

The Internacional Design Hotel is located in a perfect spot in the city center. It is a charming spot and our room (307) is perfect - with great views of the plaza. The hotel entrance is easy to miss on Rua da Betesda. A short 20 minute ride from the airport and we are at our home away from home.

On and off rainfall today won't stop us from walking the town.
