All is quiet on the home front. Painters continue to sand, scrape and sand some more. I think they plan to remove all the old paint before putting on the new paint. I don't know why! After all - we are painting the interior the exact same colors!
The existing kitchen island is set to be removed on Tuesday or Wednesday! That should be a REAL mess! I am looking forward to seeing the new island. It will be about 9" longer than the existing one to make room for the new 36" Fisher Paykel gas cook top and Bosch downdraft! Hurray! I am so excited.
No progress to report on the other projects. I am starting to wonder if the exterior painters are going to return to finish up. I think the work took longer than they had planned ... and now they are off on another job. Would not mind if my project wasn't left at 90 percent complete. Storm windows and screens are stacked up in the garage waiting for them to finish!
