Italy Day - Two

After an adventuresome travel trip to Procida, we were pleased to reach our new home-away-from-home. It is a modest and pleasant apartment with plenty of room and furnishings for two people. Best of all the apartment's large balcony is sunny during the cool mornings and shady during the warm afternoons.

Our apartment is located near L'Olmo plaza - which turns out to be a lovely square (well, really a triangle) with several shops, groceries and a butcher.

We are a few minutes away from the black volcanic sand beach called Chiala. The only thing between us and sun is about 100 stair steps down a treacherous hillside. We ate dinner last night at the sole little restaurant (ristorante e Lido La Conchiglia) on this beach and safely overcame the challenge (although I admit to a few stops along the way to 'take photos' (read: rest)).
