The Church of S. Tommaso D'aquino was built in 1885. The wooden statue of Christ that is carried in the procession on Good Friday is housed in this Church.
The Chiese is located on the busy street Via M. Scotti along central part of the island. Outside it is easily mistaken for a government office building.
