The Chatelet station is the largest metro station in Europe. Yes - it is a huge maze of tunnels and a major hub for many of the different lines in Paris. We spend a lot of time passing through this station to get to our destinations. We also spend a lot of time lost in this station because the signs are the worst. People-movers do help in getting from one end of the station to the other.
