We made it to the Musee de Orangerie to see Monet's water lilies. I probably would get stoned for saying this - but the museum's remodel is almost as amazing as the art work. I love this space which stands in stark contrast to warm images it houses.
Downstairs - Renoir and others take the limelight. My favorite Modligiani has 5 paintings once owned by industrialist Paul Guilliaume. They once hung in his office. That should have made going to work easier.
Note to self: No Museum Pass means standing in lines and being very cold! Thankfully most of the Holiday crowds will leave tomorrow.
