Lisbon, Day 3 - Belem

Belem is three miles from the city center. In the old days - it was the served as the send off for voyages to discovery the World. This area survived the 1755 earthquake and has several monuments that are easy walking distance from each other. You can catch the tram or bus from Praca Do Comercio in the center to Belem.
