Paris - Goodbye and Goodnight

Delights

Itineraries

Our last night was enjoyed by returning to one of our favorite restaurants from last year.

Saving Paris

Shopping Paris during all the sales is a great treat. Bin after bin full of sale items. Each treasure at 30, 40 or 75 percent savings.

Grizzli Morning

Did I mention that it is cold in Paris. Oh me, oh my - my toes hurt.

Grizzli Cafe is one of our long time loves in Paris. We try to eat here for either lunch or dinner at least one time during our visit.

Outlasting Paris

How does one spend you last day in Paris? It is a terribly difficult decision. Of course, the freezing weather has us all trying to hide indoors.

We started our day with a quick trip to Sacre Coeur. Luckily - we traveled up the hill via the Subway and missed most of the steps. But .. not all of them.

Frenchie

Paris 2010 – Dinner 9

Frenchie

d6

5, rue du Nil, 2nd (01.40.39.96.19). M° Sentier. Closed Sun and Mon. No lunch Tue.

With a French chef who previously worked at Jamie Oliver’s restaurant in London, this is the new bistro that everyone is talking about at the moment. There are just 24 seats and two choices for each course on a market menu that changes every week or so. I loved my meal here (smoked trout with turnip purée and onion chutney, braised beef filet) and consider it worth the effort of getting in.

Louv Me Again

On this final day using our 6 day Museum Pass we decided to return to the Louvre for one last taste of this fantastic museum.

Tuiling Around

Winter, Spring or Fall - you must enjoy wandering the gardens of Paris.

l'Organerie

Every time I write about Paris - I mention visitng my favorite museum, artist or art work. Overall I have to admit that since the l'Organerie reopened a few years ago it move quickly up to one of may all time favorite spots to visit within the city.
