Paris 2010 – Dinner 4

Fish la Boissonnerie

69 rue de Seine, 6th (01.43.54.34.69). M° Mabillon.

Run by a couple from New Zealand who also own the wine shop La Dernière Goutte (6 rue Bourbon Le Château, 6th/01.43.29.11.62/Open 10am-8.30pm) nearby, this easy-going wine bar serves reliably good bistro fare like sea bream with garlic and fennel or scallops with caramelized endives and crispy leeks. The emphasis is on fish, but there are also some good meat dishes such as pork tenderloin with parsley risotto. It’s popular with English-speaking expats as well as Parisian locals.

We found tonight's food to be well done and yummy.
