Paris 2010 – Dinner 9

Frenchie

d6

5, rue du Nil, 2nd (01.40.39.96.19). M° Sentier. Closed Sun and Mon. No lunch Tue.

With a French chef who previously worked at Jamie Oliver’s restaurant in London, this is the new bistro that everyone is talking about at the moment. There are just 24 seats and two choices for each course on a market menu that changes every week or so. I loved my meal here (smoked trout with turnip purée and onion chutney, braised beef filet) and consider it worth the effort of getting in.
