Amsterdam - Day 1, Hotel Estherea

We arrived in Amsterdam after a long journey via American Airlines from the USA and codeshare partner British Airways from London. It has been a long process to get to Amsterdam. We are very happy to finally be here - but first time to rest a bit before setting off in full swing for our weekend adventure. Planes, trains, and trams make for a grueling day.

We are returning to Hotel Estherea (www.estherea.nl) which sits on a lovely canal and is centrally located near the trendy Nine Streets shopping area. We stayed here last in 2012. The rooms are small (actually tiny) but you can't beat the charm of this property.
