Madrid - Day Three

On Sunday morning the streets south of Plaza Major down Calle de Toledo come to life with a huge street market. At first - I was hesitant to dedicate much time from our itinerary to visit this market. After plenty of recommendations we decided to give it a try and were pleasantly surprised.

Coin and stamp market at Plaza Major.

Sunday street market - if you can't find it here then they probably don't make it. Thousands of locals and tourist take to the streets to browse the vendors booths at on of the largest outdoor markets in Europe. People are friendly but you have to love crowds.

Plenty of bargains from 5€ espadrilles to 10€ headphones for your iPhone.

Location:Madrid, Spain
