Paris 2013 - Day Five Disney

When all else fails - there is always Disney Paris. Years ago a good friend tried turning us on to this New Year's day experience and we just couldn't understand it. This after some faulting planning (my fault) on our itinerary of art exhibitions we had the entire day unplanned. Normally - New Year's Day is reserved for the Luxembourg and Orangerie but not this year.
So - Disney Paris here we come! Disney is a quick 1 hour RER A train ride from the city. Trains are free until noon on New Year's Day so the day began with a 7 Euros savings (don't worry we will spend it in the hands of Disney's capitalist). Tip: buy your return ticket - you will need it as there were plenty of RATP police checking patrons for valid tickets and issuing fines.
Okay - I will admit it. We had a good time at Disney Paris. The weather spirits kept the rain away until we headed home. The park was busy but only a few rides had long lines. I would not plan a trip to Disney Paris but if like us - you find yourself with some unplanned time and limited options. The 60 Euro one-park day pass isn't cheap but we had at least 59 Euros of silly fun time and smiles.
