Day One Berlin - Arrival

Our travel to Germany went without a hitch. We departed DFW on a direct flight on American Airlines to Frankfurt FRA airport and after a brief layover caught our codeshare AirBerlin flight to our destination.  We decided to try out MyDriver chauffeur service (www.mydriver.com) to transport us (along with Barbara and our luggage) to the Adina Apartment Hotel in the central Mitte area of Berlin. It worked out perfect for us and I'd trying using them again (think Uber but with advanced reservations and car selection).

The Adina Apartment Hotel (www.adina.eu) is located in a perfect spot in the city center. It is a block or two from Hackescher Market train station. Easy walking distance to museum island and good transportation connections within minutes of the front door. Our nightly rate of about $270 USD included breakfast and taxes. Our room (413) was well equipped with small den, separate bedroom, tiny balcony, open kitchen (kettle, dishes, cooktop and refrigerator) and washer/dryer hidden away in a nice sized bathroom. Yes, it does have air conditioning which is important during the warmer summer days. We'd stay here again.
