Day One Berlin - German History Museum

After settling into our hotel - we ventured off to tour the German History Museum located adjacent to museum island  (former armory) and a few minutes walk from our hotel. On the way we stopped for a quick lunch at an adjacent cafe facing the Berlin Cathedral. There is a lot of construction in Berlin right now and it is expected to continue until 2018 (or beyond). The Germany History museum is filled with historical images and artifacts from medieval times to 1994. The audio guide is extra and provides useful information on the collection. Photos without flash are allowed. A nice activity to fight off jet lag from the overnight travels to Germany.

They call this dish French pizza in Berlin. The crust is table cracker thin and crisp. Yummy!
