The Miro to Picassco exhibit at the Luxembourg Museum was well worth the time and cost. The exhibit is made up of one man’s collection of art. If you enjoy modern to pop art – this show is for you. I was extremely happy to spend a couple of hours touring this exhibit of Warhol, Picasso, Miro, Appel, Pollock, Ernst, Cornell, Helion, Wesselmann, Mahe, Vasarely Reinhardt, and Nicholson. About 50 works from the private collection from Lisbon Portugal are now hanging in this well designed space. The Luxembourg Museum continues to be my favorite stop on New Year’s Day in Paris. The audio tour is worth the 4E fee.
