Day Three - Budapest - Great Market Hall

I love visiting markets in cities - they can offer a nice view into daily life. Each and everyone is very different. Budapest's Great Market occupies a large covered building near the river. The vendors sell their produce and products in well defined stalls which are more like permanent store fronts. The second floor is home to hungarian products and food. I invested in a really nice pocket knife. The first (main) floor is dedicated to vendors selling meat, fruits and vegetables, sweets, wines and yes - paprika. Hot, sweet and smokey paprika is available from a huge range of suppliers and quantity. The underground is filled with pickled products and fish stalls.
