Milan - Day 2, Walking Milan

We love hiring local guides to show us around town. Today our guide is Lorenza Scorti, a native of Milano and we are off to see some less known sights in the town. It's raining today (I should say thunderstorms) so we aren't certain exactly what we will be able to see. We are trying to stay away from the more famous city sights since we have a tour of those in a few days.

Leonardo Di Vinci Statue - surrounded by his four students

Milan Street Car

13th Century Palazzo della Ragione (House of Reason)

Gelato

Piazza Mercanti - Medieval city center

Piazza Mercanti - terracotta window frame

Street market selling coins on Sunday

Stock Exchange

Expo shop near the Castle

Needle and Thread (think Fashion) sculpture near Corona Station

Torre Velasca

Designed after a medieval tower

Part of the ancient wall

Porta Ticinese
