Day 2 Oslo - Grünerløkka

Graciela swept our hungry group away to the more trendy area of Oslo for a quick bite to eat. The area of Grünerløkka is youthful and fun. I'd probably stay in this part of town on my next visit.

Near the Munch Musuem is the Tøyenhagen (botanical garden)

It took us awhile to figure out this tree - thankfully they were labeled in the botanical garden. It's a common chestnut tree.

A terrific food market located on the bank of the river in an old warehouse.

After a delightful lunch - we walked down one of the oldest traditional streets in Oslo - Teithusbakken. Quaint wooden homes and a nice shared urban garden too.
