Day 5 Oslo - Fram Museum

Fram is the strongest wooden ship ever built and still holds the records for sailing farthest north and farthest south. The Norwegians were close to being the first to reach the North Pole but had to turn back. They did however reach the South Pole and set the Norwegian flag before any other country. It is a fascinating museum where you can climb aboard the polar ship and venture inside.

It's an easy ferry ride from the port to the museum peninsula.
