The Church of St. Joseph History was built in the 19th Century. It is located on the southern most district of the island near Marina Chiaiolella. This area is popular with beach goers - as the neighborhood is home to the Beach Clubs on both Ciraceceillo and Ciraccio spiaggia.
This district of town is fairly empty during our preseason visit. I imagine it filled with visitors and sailboats during the high tourist season.
The Procession di San Giuseppe occurred on 14 Maggio during our stay on Isola di Procida. We missed the on-the-ground activities but enjoyed the fireworks that filled the sky.
