Vienna - Day Two St. Stephen's Cathedral

In the center of Old Town sits the grand and imposing St. Stephen's Cathedral. It is difficult to believe that twin towers were planned for this gigantic church.

Over 300 steps take you to the observation deck of the tower - while the unfinished tower has lower views and yes, an elevator.

Originally surrounded by the cemetery - many of the tomb stones have been incorporated in the exterior walls while remains were moved outside of the city walls to prevent disease.

Location:Vienna, Austria
