Hong Kong - Day One Food

Sunday, Nov 9 - It is late (9 pm) and we are all exhausted from the long trip to Hong Kong. Our first dining choice closed its doors just as we approached. The neighbor is has a wide mix of eateries on the streets and alleys. We settled on Cafe Yawn (9 Haven Street, Causeway Bay) which is primarily a coffee house (www.facebook.com/yawncafe) with handy wifi. Tonight the local joint offers western style hamburgers and freshly squeezed juice, coffee, tea or wine. No beer here (darn it). The bill approached $300 HKD at this clean and pleasant spot near Lanson Place hotel - and hit the spot for these roady weary travelers.

One surprise - poached egg in the hamburger meat. Yummy!
