Hong Kong - Day Five Che Kung Temple

The Che Kung Temple is dedicated to granting miraculous good luck and everything centers around that concept. Spinning windmills, prayers and offerings, horoscopes and soothsayers - you will find them all here. Che Kung was a Sung Dynasty general. Over 100 years ago he saved the village from not only a flood but ended the great plague. The temple building is newly constructed in 1993 but the old original (much smaller) temple remains situated behind the grand hall.
