Hong Kong - Day Five Route Twisk

Thurs Nov 13 - Route Twisk is a windy drive through the center of the New Territories. It offers some great views from the mountain top if you manage to catch a clear day in Hong Kong. Low clouds and overcast kept the distant mountains and valleys hidden from us. The drive - however was still fun.

Yuen Yuen Institute merges education and training for all of the beliefs. It is a spectacular compound of buildings and ancestral halls. It also closes promptly at 5 pm so our 5:08 arrival found the gates sealed to visitors.

This is our last day with our guide Dicky Woollard. He is a knowledgeable and enjoyable companion for touring the area. We enjoyed his company and talks about culture and history.
