Hong Kong - Day Three Wong Tai Sin Temple

Tues Nov 11 - Wong Tai Sin Temple can be described as nothing less than chaotic. This famous goat herder was blessed with the miracle of changing stones into goats. Today - we might question the benefit of such a gift but in the day - it was important. The temple was constructed by a shop owner in Kowloon after his store burned to the ground and he was instructed to walk 8,000 paces North and build a shrine on the spot. Today the complex teems with people from the Southern portion of China and the home of Wong Tai Sin. Almost everyone is looking for answers using soothsayers or fortune sticks.
