Hong Kong - Day Four Kwan Tai Temple

There are two main temples in Tai O. The most impressive is the Kwan Tai Temple (1488-1505) located in the village center. It is dedicated to God of War and was built during the reign of Hong Zhi of the Ming Dynasty. Kwan Tai was a loyal military general believed to protect devotees from all evil.
